The quality and scent rattled my bones.
I wasn't expecting the candle to be so detailed. I thought the the skull and material would be painted or something like plastic, but I was wrong and glad I bought it. The material is hard, heavy and the color is matte, not gloss for a dark, burned, elegant spooky look. The skull looks like someone chiseled it from stone.
Overall, I am impressed and glad I bought both the black skull and the white skull.
As for the candle, the scent is fantastic. DW always has richer cleaner quality than other companies.
I stopped buy Yankee Candle because they switched to a cheap soy base and no matter how long I burn their candles, the scent is never smelled unless you stand an inch away.
I also stopped buying Bath & Body Works because all of their candles have a sharp, chemical smell regardless of the scent. It is hard to explain but their candles made my nose twitch because they smelled so unnatural and more toxic.
DW does not have either of the above negative issues.
The scent of this candle is teak, a natural clean and can be for men and women. I am not a fan of eucalyptus, so teak is the scent I lean towards for a more rich, woodsy, and elevated fresh vibe.
Highly recommend.
