It’s Earth Week! And it’s the perfect time to show a little extra love to our beautiful planet. While there are tons of ways to live more sustainably, let’s talk about one surprisingly fun and satisfying habit: repurposing your used candle jars!

If you're like us, you probably have a stash of gorgeous, empty candle jars tucked away because they're too pretty to toss. And you would be right! Giving them a brand-new life and reducing waste while you're at it is the best way to love your candles for years and years. Let’s turn those forgotten jars into something fabulous!

First: Clean ‘Em Up

Before you reuse your candle jars, you'll want to clean them out. Here’s a quick method:
1. Place the jar in the freezer for a few hours — the leftover wax will pop right out.
2. Use warm, soapy water to scrub off any soot or label residue.
3. Dry thoroughly and admire that shiny, blank canvas.

Now the Fun Part: Repurposing

Here are some of our favorite ways to reuse our candle jars!

Add a little soil, a small succulent, and voilà! Your windowsill just got cuter and greener.

2. Desk Organizers
Pens, paper clips, washi tape, crayons and more! Candle jars make perfect little organizers.

3. Bathroom Storage
Cotton balls, Q-tips, bath salts… these jars are just the right size for tidying up your vanity in a chic, low-waste way.

4. Match Holder
Fill a clean jar with matches and attach a striker sticker to the bottom or side.

5. Tea Light Holders
Give your jars a second life as ambiance-boosters. Add some fairy lights or a tea light candle and set the mood.
