I bought 3 scents in this collection and love them all. The only downside is, all 3 candles tunnel every time I burn them. I had to use foil on the first burn to get the wax even and have had to use the same method each time before I snuff out the candle. Overall great candles and I'm excited to reuse them as drinking glasses, but the tunneling issue is frustrating!
DHDW Home Candles1 year agoHi Mia! Thank you for your review. We are so sorry you had this experience with your candles! Each of our candles are hand-poured with love, which means the candles all have a slightly unique burning process. When the flame on your wicks are low and small, this means the wicks may be a little too short of the amount of wax in the candle. This can be an easy fix! We suggest burning your candle three times for about 3-4 hours during each burn to allow the wick more exposure in the wax. Candles self-correct which is why burning your candles multiple times for a few hours almost always fixes any issue! We also recommend that during this period, only trim the very top of your wicks that way the wick maintains a long enough length to burn properly.

When this collection came out in the minis last year I begged dw to make a larger size and they did and in such a cool vessel, this one is so complex think brioche toasted with butter crushed rose petals with a splash of espresso and chocolate liqueur grounded with vanilla bean it’s amazing and such a unique chic coffeehouse concept I’m so glad they made a large this is what you expect from more upscale brands in terms of depth but I find they never do gourmand justice but dw does 💕🌹☕️ (and pro tip use a top down warmer with dw for maximum output )
