Barely any scent when burning

I was disappointed also - purchased an XL double-wick from TJ Maxx, and there is barely any scent when lit.....figured maybe it had to burn for a bit for the scent to release, but not the case - I let it burn for hours and you can barely smell it unless you hover over it and sniff it....very disappointing

Disappointed

While you cannot hit a home-run every time, it is disappointing nevertheless when a base hit isn't even achieved. I've had much enjoyment with other DW Home Candles, i.e. Christmas Morning, Paradise Escape, Lilac Blossom. I expected the same with Island Guava. Perhaps my particular Island Guava candle was made from an "off batch"; there is no scent when burning. Unfortunately, it is nothing but a $12 candle with no purpose.

sweet

I purchased my Island Guava in the single wick size. It smells divine, very strong when burning and was able to pool out the entire way when i burned it. However, the wick sucked. It pumped out so much smoke and no matter how short I trimmed it, it still did it. I decided to cut my losses and use the wax in my warmer. The wax is very soft and I do not think it is well suited to this purpose. 3 stars for lovely smell and good throw
