I am so disappointed in the Clean Kitchen candle. I have quite a few DW candles, and burn them all the same: until melted wax reaches the sides, to avoid tunnelling. In spite of my best efforts, this one burns unevenly, creating a lot of wasted wax :( As much as I like the scent, I will have a hard time justifying a purchase of this one again.

I got this candle at Marshall’s for $7.99. This is my second DW Candle I had ever burned. The first 2 burns there wasn’t any throw, but on its 3rd burn currently the lemon scent filled up my whole small bedroom. I’m burning it as a write this too. Another thing is that this candle tunnels, but my candle lamp can correct this.

Each of our candles are hand-poured with love, which means the candles all have a slightly unique burning process. Since you are experiencing fragrance issues, please try burning your candle 3 times for 3-4 hours. When a candle’s fragrance isn’t very strong, this usually means the wax has not melted enough to loosen the wick, which emits the fragrance. Make sure to keep the candle away from any vents, air circulation, or drafts. Please email our Customer Service Department for additional assistance or with any other questions!
