Haven't burned any of my Winter subscription candles yet and won't until after Thanksgiving so I can't say anything about the smell or burning of the candle. This one was the first one I unwrapped and I was quite disappointed with the quality of the jar. There are huge globs of dried glue coming out from under and around the bow that has been stuck on the candle holder glass. I would have expected a better presentation from DW Home. Not sure if they all looked like this or if it were some. I hope they all do because if someone packed a product that looked like this, that person should be fired.
