Sophistication, Spice & Everything Nice...
Another great fragrance composition from DW. On cold sniff, nearly identical to the beloved Black Rose & Oud. Lit, there's a moderate throw with just enough earthiness and spice to complement the clean red rose. Only knocked off a star because I thought it'd be a bit more peppery + the description said it was a double-wick but it's a single. :( That aside, still a really well done, perfume-like scent. Fully evokes champagne sips under a mink throw, while cozy in your favorite loungewear and near a crackling fire. Really sets the tone for my winter evenings, after a nice warm bath or shower. Also, totally unisex IMO and great for anyone that wants a refined, sultry vibe. So if that's your aim, or you just want a break from the cold-weather gourmands, I'd highly suggest giving this a try! (Reco: Also layers beautifully with Tobacco Oud or Silver Spruce, when in a nearby room! xx)
