While this is a very pretty candle, the scent is very disappointing. Overly floral with no patchouli base. I’ve come to the conclusion that a pretty jar is hiding a mediocre candle. I felt like I wasted my money.

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry you had this experience with your candle! Each of our candles in hand-poured with love, which means the candles all have a slightly unique burning process. Since you are experiencing fragrance issues, please try burning your candle 3 times for 3-4 hours. When a candle’s fragrance isn’t very strong, this usually means the wax has not melted enough to loosen the wick, which emits the fragrance. Make sure to keep the candle away from any vents, air circulation, or drafts.
One of the three candles was for me the other two were gifts. Both of my friends love their candles!
I will most definitely be purchasing more!

I love DW's Ninety Six series! I tried to purchase another Blooming Lavender & Lilac candle, from the series, that I love! Unfortunately that was unavailable, so I bought the Exotic Patchouli & Narcissus. This scent is like a trip to the islands! Additonally, the pleasant scent lingers for quite a while after extinguishing.
