I so wanted to love this!
I was so excited to see my Bordeaux Fig candle waiting for me when I got home!
Firstly, I love the smell of fig.
Secondly, how fine is that packaging, I have a myriad of different hues of purple throughout my living space and this would have fit right in.
Sadly, it didn't do it for me.
I could not smell any of the fig or grape mostly just a light blackberry and that smokey smell of wax that often occurs when a candle's breakdown
says "ambered woods".
How many times was I let down by "ambered woods" or any "woods" LOL, and I'm looking @ u Nest, Archipelago, Byredo etc.
Either you get that burned wax vibe or cheap men's cologne, Diptique/Cire Trudon do wood well but I'm not spending that kind of $ anymore.
Anyway, I will be trying some other D&W fig candles so fingers crossed.
