First DW candle burning
On first sniff, it smelled really good. But once it started burning there was hardly any throw at all. Then, no matter how long I burned this, I could not get a full melt pool. It was constantly tunneling. I moved it all around, each time far away from drafts, vents, etc. It simply didn’t perform well. I wanted to like this. It was my first DW candle.

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry you had this experience with your candle! Each of our candles in hand-poured with love, which means the candles all have a slightly unique burning process. Since you are experiencing fragrance issues, please try burning your candle 3 times for 3-4 hours. When a candle’s fragrance isn’t very strong, this usually means the wax has not melted enough to loosen the wick, which emits the fragrance. Make sure to keep the candle away from any vents, air circulation, or drafts.
