This candle has a dark mood to it that envelopes me in the winter like a winter blanket dipped in Sandalwood and Myrrh!

Light but full bodied fragrance. Nothing else like it. I'm not a florally person but like the earthy smells, strong but not at all overpowering. These scents have a long staying smell. Light for a while and smell forever, really. Love, love, love it.

Found this candle at a beautiful, small shop, Verde of Cambria, in Cambria, CA. My 12 year old daughter had been looking for a crackling candle with a wooden wick. She found it and I loved the scent of this one. It's much prettier than other jar candles. It is a great accessory in the guest bathroom. The jar is made of a dark brown frosted glass with a medium brown wooden lid. There is a thin, dark brown rope tied in a bow around the top of the jar. It's easier to light and blow out the fire compared to the wax wick candles...I never get burned! The smell is noticeable but soft enough for my sensitive nose. I love it! Think I will try other scents too.
